Gracious God,
grant to the family(s) a sure confidence in your loving care,
that sharing their sorrow with you,
they may know the consolation of your love.
Grant them courage and strength to meet the days ahead
in the comfort of a holy and certain hope,
and in the joyful expectation of eternal life with their love one.
