QW - Wolverine

“Picture a weasel…
and most of us can do that,
for we have all met that little demon of destruction,
that small atom of insensate courage,
that symbol of slaughter,
sleeplessness,
and tireless, incredible activity…
picture that scrap of demonic fury,
multiply that mite some fifty times,
and you have the likeness of…
A WOLVERINE”

Significant Interests

A comment was received today that requires a response.

The posts that are published on this blog are quotes either heard in day to day life from events and people around the globe, read in fiction or non-fiction publications, or they are from historical events or people. For those who do not have the background or insight to see them for what they are than that is your loss and your trivial comments are not welcome. As for the blog it is not intended as a forum for political or moral debate. The 'Quote of the Week' (QW)
is only something to ponder over when there is nothing else of significant interest available to publish.

Regarding this mornings quote of the week, it comes from a Roman Military writer and strategist by the name of Flavius Vegetius Renatus.

If there are any interesting quotes that either contradict or emphasise the quote of the week than it they are welcome, but personal views or perspectives are not. Comments are moderated by the blogger editor and may not be published at all.

QW - the Punisher

New Year's Day

The evenings activities were quite good. Starting with a Harry Potter movie that was not half bad moving into a dinner while watching the Canadian Jr Hocky team kick American butt. We then enjoyed New Year's festivities at Halifax Town Hall with Breakfast Television and some bands ending with a awesome fireworks show.

Hope all had an equally enjoyable night to start off an excellent year.

Chow for now,
